Separate coat products versus pooled material volume.
Different plaster products require separate bag rounding even when their combined wet volume appears convenient.
Calculate two independent purchase scenarios
Prefilled values are illustrative. Replace measurements and product data on both sides. Quantities with different units or different products cannot be combined. Open a result in its calculator to save it to your material project.
A worked purchase comparison
A 20 m² coat at 10 mm needs 0.2 m³; 15 L mixed yield per bag gives fourteen bags. Another 20 m² coat at 2 mm needs 0.04 m³; 10 L per bag gives four bags. The order is fourteen of the first product and four of the second, not eighteen interchangeable bags.
Use your measurements and selected products
Keep compound tubs, adhesive cartridges and different plaster products separate. Wet volume and mixed bag yield must use the same basis.
Specified Drywall Panel Screw Grid Calculator
Count mathematical perimeter and interior screw positions on identical panels using your supplied grid, with corners counted once.
Specified Drywall Adhesive Dab Volume Calculator
Convert an explicitly specified dab grid and cylindrical wet dab dimensions to cartridge quantity.
Separate Plaster Coat Product Bag Calculator
Order each separately specified plaster product from its measured area, coat depths and mixed bag yield.
Tapered Joint Compound Wet Volume Calculator
Calculate compound for a supplied trapezoidal wet joint-band cross-section along measured joint lengths.
What makes the comparison valid?
Supplied screw grids, adhesive dabs and coat thicknesses are arithmetic inputs, not recommended installation schedules.
Illustrative quantities above are not market prices or construction recommendations. Compare actual permitted scenarios independently and keep alternative orders separate.
