MEASUREMENTS AND PURCHASE DECISIONS

Patio pavers: compare named products and count the supplied pattern.

How do you compare concrete, porcelain and other pavers without designing a base or selecting a safe surface?

Product application limits are specific

Belgard presents concrete and porcelain as distinct product families with different appearance and care considerations. Check application limits in the exact selected product documentation. Do not generalise a marketing category into a structural capacity or a promise that every paver with the same material name is suitable everywhere.

Compare documented products and an established layout

Record the selected product, size, pattern module, surface data, intended application and supplier quote. Suitability, base specification, jointing system, slip resistance and drainage need their own established basis; this article does not select them.

Count a supplied pattern by its separate pieces

An illustrative pattern schedule with ten modules containing two pieces A and one piece B needs twenty A and ten B before the supplied allowance. If A comes in eight-piece packs and B in six-piece packs, the orders round to three A packs and two B packs.

Keep the quote basket complete

The example purchases twenty-four A pieces and twelve B pieces. Price each product on its own pack basis and include only specified accessories and quoted services. A square-metre price alone can miss pack rounding or different module components; it does not establish an installation method.

Use the matching calculator

Use this decision sequence

  1. Record the exact item and the scope described below.
  2. Check the cited guidance against your product or local growing conditions.
  3. Measure only the quantities needed for the selected plan.
  4. Keep the supplied assumptions with the purchase estimate.

Worked comparison

Ten supplied modules using 2A + 1B require 20A and 10B; eight-A and six-B packs produce 24A and 12B purchased.

Check before using the estimate

No paver cutting, base design, pressure washing or load and slip-safety guarantee is provided.

All dimensions, product properties, prices and specifications in this example are illustrative arithmetic inputs. Use the values from your measured plan, selected product data sheet and supplier quote. This guide does not choose construction specifications or certify safety.

Sources and product references

References support the factual distinctions and scope described above. Growing guidance is regional and care instructions are product-specific. Worked numerical examples are independent illustrative arithmetic.
