Masonry and joint materials.
Choose the actual material and supply form. Each sheet identifies what to measure, which product data to collect and a purchase assumption to check.
Brick units
Measure courses and the specified masonry module, including openings and closure positions.
Prepare this material →Hollow masonry blocks
List wall runs, openings and the already specified block module.
Prepare this material →Mortar bag mix
Use a measured or already specified prepared mortar volume rather than guessing it from dry bag mass.
Prepare this material →Brick slip flats
Measure flat face areas after allocating all specified corner strips.
Prepare this material →Brick slip corner pieces
Measure the corner height and both supplied returns separately from the remaining flat field.
Prepare this material →Masonry closure pieces
List each prescribed partial unit and its finished length.
Prepare this material →Masonry special units
Create separate schedule lines for every different shape and handed variant.

| Material | Selected product data | Ordering mistake to avoid |
|---|---|---|
| Brick units | Actual unit dimensions, supplied joint width and units per pack. | Face area divided by bare brick area ignores the joint module and whole course closures. |
| Hollow masonry blocks | Unit face dimensions, supplied joints and separate special-unit counts. | A hollow block is not a solid displaced volume for estimating mortar or fill. |
| Mortar bag mix | Mixed yield per complete bag for the selected preparation basis. | Subtracting the outer volume of hollow units from a wall can substantially misstate mortar demand. |
| Brick slip flats | Effective flat coverage per pack, supplied corner-leg dimensions and module joints. | Ordering all wall area as flats can double count the portions covered by corner pieces. |
| Brick slip corner pieces | Corner units per pack, effective vertical module and both leg dimensions. | Linear corner coverage cannot be pooled with square-area flat pack coverage. |
| Masonry closure pieces | Whole unit size, reserved cut width and the required closure count. | One cut unit may supply several pieces, but only when all pieces fit with the cut gaps. |
| Masonry special units | Pieces per package for each distinct unit and the exact scheduled quantities. | Equal face dimensions do not make differently shaped special units interchangeable. |
