Choose the actual material and supply form. Each sheet identifies what to measure, which product data to collect and a purchase assumption to check.

Membrane field rolls

Measure the supplied surface and intended strip orientation.

Record each actual seam once and separately identify crossings or extra detail pieces.

Measure each continuous supplied waterstop path and list all approved splice locations.

Record complete rectangular patch blanks including the supplied margins around each penetration.

Measure the supplied detail bands and allocate crossing areas once.

List every specified sill, head and jamb strip as a complete cut piece.

Material	Selected product data	Ordering mistake to avoid
Membrane field rolls	Roll width, length and the already specified side and end laps.	Gross roll area overstates effective coverage after every lap.
Membrane seam tape	Tape roll length and the supplied extension at each seam or junction.	Counting both adjoining sheet edges doubles a shared seam.
Waterstop stock	Stock length and the explicitly supplied loss at each permitted splice.	Total run length alone cannot show whether an unspliced continuous section fits.
Membrane penetration patches	Sheet dimensions, cutting gap and the specified blank size.	Subtracting the central aperture from area does not reduce the full sheet blank required.
Liquid membrane detail material	Coverage per supplied coat or total-system basis and bucket size.	A per-coat coverage figure and a complete-system coverage figure are different inputs.
Opening flashing stock	Usable stock length or roll width and all supplied end extensions.	An opening's simple perimeter can omit intended returns and extensions.
