Zero-seam reference versus supplied seam blank fit.
Seam extensions can change whole blank fit even when the added net area seems small. Pure surface area is not a complete cutting order.

A worked purchase comparison
Three 1 × 1 m reference blanks fit one 2 × 2 m sheet. Adding a supplied 0.1 m extension to each blank width makes three 1.1 × 1 m blanks. Only two fit one sheet in the fixed orientation, so the stated rectangle allocation requires two sheets. Zero extension is a reference, not an instruction to omit a required seam.
Use your measurements and selected products
Use actual stock sheet dimensions and supplied seam or flange extensions. Coating coverage must match the selected product. No gauge or system capacity is chosen.
Rectangular Duct Jacket Sheet Blank Calculator
Develop a supplied rectangular jacket perimeter plus seam extra into complete blanks and allocate those blanks to stock sheets.
Round Duct Sleeve Sheet Blank Calculator
Develop measured circular sleeves into flat rectangles using supplied seam and end extras, then preserve whole blank fit.
Duct End Plate Sheet Blank and Aperture Calculator
Allocate full rectangular plate blanks with supplied edge extensions; deduct known apertures only from retained material area.
Rectangular Duct Exterior Coating Quantity Calculator
Measure four exterior duct faces and only the supplied exposed end faces, then deduct known uncoated area.
Centred Rectangular Duct Transition Sheet Area Calculator
Measure the four trapezoidal faces of an already specified centred rectangular transition, excluding seam and flange stock.
Supplied Round Elbow Shell Coating Quantity Calculator
Calculate curved lateral area of a specified circular elbow for coating quantities, excluding end faces.
What makes the comparison valid?
Sheet allocations are feasible rather than guaranteed optimal. Transition area-only counts are lower bounds and must not be treated as finished cut orders. No airflow or fire-performance approval is provided.
Illustrative quantities above are not market prices or construction recommendations. Compare actual permitted scenarios independently and keep alternative orders separate.
