Continuous seam cuts versus permitted tape pooling.
Total metres alone can undercount rolls when individual continuous pieces cannot share the remaining length.
Calculate two independent purchase scenarios
Prefilled values are illustrative. Replace measurements and product data on both sides. Quantities with different units or different products cannot be combined. Open a result in its calculator to save it to your material project.
A worked purchase comparison
Two continuous 6 m seams require two 10 m rolls. Adding two 0.5 m junction patches still fits those two rolls. The unused length is real stock, but a third continuous 6 m seam cannot be made from the two 3.5 m remnants without a permitted joint.
Use your measurements and selected products
Record the selected tape length, sheet dimensions, permitted splice overlap and liquid product coverage. Obtain all details from your supplied specification.
Membrane Seam and Junction Tape Order Calculator
Order rolls from measured seam runs, specified end allowances and separate junction patches, with explicit joining rules.
Waterstop Stock and Splice Quantity Calculator
Count stock lengths and overlapped splices independently for each run in your existing waterstop plan.
Membrane Penetration Patch Blank Calculator
Count square patch blanks that fit a sheet around identical measured penetrations, without reusing cut-out centres.
Liquid Membrane Detail Band Coverage Calculator
Separate measured detail bands from broad surface coverage and remove explicitly measured shared areas once.
What makes the comparison valid?
Seam tape and flashing tape are not automatically interchangeable. The calculator does not approve waterproofing or flashing details.
Illustrative quantities above are not market prices or construction recommendations. Compare actual permitted scenarios independently and keep alternative orders separate.
