How much can my material cover?
Start with the paint, packs or bags you already own. Calculate the area they can cover before buying more.
Use your product's usable coverage or volume. For paint, enter the coats you already specified. For bagged material, enter your specified depth. No thickness, application rate or building requirement is selected here.
Enter all required values to see how much area your existing material can cover.
Work backwards from your material
This tool starts with available material and returns area. The ordinary paint calculator and flooring calculator start with area and estimate what to buy. Switching material here clears the fields; switching units preserves the entered physical quantities.
What to check before using the result
For paint, use the coverage for your actual product and application. For flooring, use usable pack coverage and consider whether the remaining pieces fit the room. For bags, use volume rather than weight: do not substitute kilograms for litres. Depth and coats must come from your own specified plan.
A blank allowance means zero additional material allowance, not a recommended rate. Results are planning quantities and do not verify product suitability, building requirements or structural safety.
Open your material project to combine your other calculations and track materials already purchased.
