MATERIAL PREPARATION LIBRARY
Cladding and external trim.
Choose the actual material and supply form. Each sheet identifies what to measure, which product data to collect and a purchase assumption to check.
Cladding course stock
Measure course lengths by the supplied orientation and openings.
Prepare this material →Cladding overlap panels
Measure the actual supplied face coverage and divide it into the chosen courses.
Prepare this material →Cladding end trim
Measure each panel end requiring trim and list separate joint pieces.
Prepare this material →Render bead stock
List all supplied continuous corner, stop and reveal bead runs.

| Material | Selected product data | Ordering mistake to avoid |
|---|---|---|
| Cladding course stock | Useful cover width, stock length and the permitted joint locations. | Nominal width can overstate effective cover in an overlapping profile. |
| Cladding overlap panels | Actual panel size and specified side or end lap. | Gross panel area cannot replace effective cover area. |
| Cladding end trim | Usable stock lengths and explicitly supplied trim allowances. | Panel area does not determine the number or length of end trims. |
| Render bead stock | Stock length and whether a particular run may be joined. | A continuous corner longer than one stock piece cannot be solved by total length alone. |
| Exterior trim board | Stock length, actual profile dimensions and reserved cutting gap. | Outside corner geometry may make the purchase blank longer than the visible inside run. |
