Face-only fabric reference versus complete wrap blanks.
Side depth and back returns consume fabric beyond the visible face, and full blank width can determine stock count.
Calculate two independent purchase scenarios
Prefilled values are illustrative. Replace measurements and product data on both sides. Quantities with different units or different products cannot be combined. Open a result in its calculator to save it to your material project.
A worked purchase comparison
Four 0.4 × 0.4 m face-only reference blanks fit one 1 × 2 m stock piece. Adding 0.05 m panel depth and 0.05 m back return at each edge gives 0.6 × 0.6 m complete blanks. Three fit along that stock length and only one across its width, requiring two stock pieces for four panels.
Use your measurements and selected products
Use supplied panel sizes, fabric stock, mask blank dimensions and an already specified attachment pattern. The calculator does not choose acoustic or fire performance.
Decorative Full Slat Face Stock Calculator
Count whole-width supplied decorative face strips that fit across measured rectangles and preserve complete vertical cut fit.
Measured Perforated Panel Open Area Calculator
Compare supplied non-overlapping circular perforations with gross panel area and retained material mass.
Fabric Covered Panel Wrap Blank Calculator
Develop a supplied panel face, side depth and back return into a whole fabric blank before stock allocation.
Specified Baffle Faces Coating Quantity Calculator
Count selected broad faces, narrow faces and ends of supplied rectangular baffles before ordering coating.
Supplied Fabric Frame Staple Position Pack Calculator
Count perimeter positions on supplied rectangular frames with corners counted once and your chosen staples per position.
Perforation Mask Disc Stock Sheet Calculator
Count supplied masking discs for circular holes, allocating square cutting cells rather than treating circular area as usable sheet yield.
What makes the comparison valid?
Face-only quantities omit the supplied wrap pattern. Perforation percentage is geometry, not sound absorption, ventilation capacity, fire performance or strength.
Illustrative quantities above are not market prices or construction recommendations. Compare actual permitted scenarios independently and keep alternative orders separate.
